My name is Carrie Maldonado. A long time ago I would have described myself as an HR executive and professional coach. Then I added wife to Dreamy to the description in 2009 and Mommy to a miracle baby (Grace, whom I sometimes call Bisky) in 2012. Dreamy and I moved from Southern California to Washington State to achieve our dream of opening a gym; after which I would pursue writing, coaching and consulting once Bisky started school. All was going according to plan until we decided to have a second child when Grace was 18 months old (I was 40 and Tony 50 so we didn’t feel like we could wait too long).

My life was totally and irrevocably changed that moment during my first ultrasound when the doctor said “There’s no way to prepare you for this. You’ve got twins in there!”.

I tried to read books but found them scary and intimidating. All anyone talked about was how HARD this was going to be! Even my doctor assured me that the first year was going to be terrible. There was a great Mothers of Multiple support group, but I couldn’t meet for 2 hours at night so that wasn’t a helpful option for me (although I recommend it).

I started this site because I wanted to provide a place of encouragement, information and support. I’m still ON the journey…my twins are only two at the time I started this so we will go through this together!
